Security Safety Hints
- Do not openly display valuable, cellular phones and jewellery as it may attract criminals.
- Stay in a group (if you feel comfortable in the presence and with the members of the group). There is protection in numbers.
- Walk with a purpose and evacuate the station premises as soon as possible after arrival towards your destination
- Be alert when approached by strangers.
- Seek assistance from station staff and security (where deployed). Be aware that some stations are unmanned for economic consideration and to keep the service affordable.
- Always keep your valuables in your possession.
- Stay in well-lit and protected areas where security officials are deployed.
Customer services
- Please report the following crimes or incidents to your nearest police station or operator as trespassers, arsonists and offenders will be prosecuted.
- Criminal activities such as theft of rail assets, arson and vandalism,
- Unruly behaviour,
- Illegal trespassing outside and inside operational areas and time,
- Stuff riding and Train surfing.
