Park Station as it appeared shortly after completion in May 1897.
Writing in the Railway Magazine of August 1897, James Paton said:
"Inside Park Station is to be found a waiting room which for finish
and workmanship will take a lot of beating. Though Johannesburgers
never look at it, fancying they have no time for such purposes.
