Sarcc Announces New Board

The South African Rail Commuter Corporation (SARCC) announces the retirement of both its Chairman Mr. John Edwards and Managing Director Mr Wynand Burger and the end of term of the Board of Control.

The Minister of Transport, Dr Dullah Omar, has announced the appointment of the new Board of Control chaired by Mr Peter Malungani. Mr Ben van der Ross, has been appointed the acting Managing Director as from 1 October 2000.
